Last week, the WADA online webinar series for the European and African regions came to an end. The events were originally planned as in-person meetings in Baku, Azerbaijan, and Cairo, Egypt, but due to the current geopolitical situation in the region, they were held in a joint online format.
The symposia brought together WADA staff, representatives of International Federations and National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs). The authors of the revisions from the World Anti-Doping Agency provided detailed explanations of what exactly is changing in the new WADA Code and International Standards, how these updates will function in practice, and what steps are required for their most effective implementation. All key aspects and practical details of the upcoming changes were thoroughly examined.
We remind you that the new edition of the World Anti-Doping Code (WADC) will enter into force on 1 January 2027. International Union of Kettlebell Lifting is currently actively updating its internal anti-doping rules to ensure timely implementation and full compliance with WADA requirements.
